For my sins, I signed up with Egg - an online 'bank' - a few years ago. And suffered some apalling customer service. As they're an internet bank, and have 'Open All Hours' as part of their logo, I was surprised to see:

Which I guess isnt bad. Until I remembered the 'Open All Hours' logo:

..and the fact they're an INTERNET bank. What else can you do? Can you go to a Physical bank branch and sort stuff out ? Ahh... No..

Double Irony: Open All Hours was a TV comedy starring Ronnie Barker and had some really bad customer service. Remember the 'Jamaica Ginger Cake' (Series 3, #2) episode?

Hint: I dont recommend them...

Comments

Gravatar Image1 - Did you phone them? Surprisingly I've always had pretty good phone service from them when I've had need to call.

Gravatar Image2 - Yeeees. For the simple issues like 'Can I give you more money' things go well. For anything complicated - well. I have spent a *long* time on the phone to these people...

Gravatar Image3 - At least the EGG message was more intuitive than the KLM one Emoticon

Gravatar Image4 - They obviously lost power when Granville stopped pedalling.
