One of the fun things about being a developer in a highly regimented development process is that some rules - rules which sometimes can be bypassed - are enforced rigidly. Such as 'not starting Dev till the Specification is complete'.
We've all been in projects where there's some difficulty getting the client to stop adding things to the Spec, so it can be signed off. However, this project at the client who cannot be named sets a new personal best for me.
In order to preserve what little of my sanity I have left, I had to vent in some manner. And so I decided not to shave till the Spec is complete. Whilst the scope keeps growing, so does my beard.
