Smarter Planet. Did it work in the UK?

According to this BBC survey, IBM is not in the top-10 brand recognition poll here in the UK. MS is number one. Google, Apple, Lego are all in there. Perhaps this reflects that IBM's smarter planet tier one advertising isnt working. You see, here in the UK, we're a cynical, savvy bunch, and we can see through the 'smarter planet' tree-hugging eco-bullshit in a heartbeat. I only wish the local crew here in IBM could change this sadly mistaken marketing policy - and perhaps run a solutions based one ? You know one based on saying 'You have an issue we can solve with this ?'



Its not that IBM shoots itself in the foot. All large corporates do. Its the speed that they reload...
