Leopard 10.5.2 is out...

Somewhat analogous to 'Service Pack 1' in windows terms, I guess. A mere 3 months (and a few days) after release of Leopard. Go hit that 'Software update' button - you know you want to.

Okay, here at Casa Buchan it took slightly longer than the 190 seconds that it did over at Rob Novaks office - say 2 hours - but it worked. And the most unstable application I have - parallels - is happy. So so am I.

So lets think this through. Last October, I bought three macs, running the equivalent of Windows XP. Tiger. And I upgraded them to the lovely 64-bit leopard. And now I have service pack 1. Guess what. It all works, beautifully.

Vista seems just like a drug induced nightmare now.

I've travelled with my Mac, presented in front of thousands with my mac, worked hard-core dev on my Mac. And I'm happy. Not just barely getting by between crashes and virus outbreaks. Actually happy. Wild horses couldnt drag me back to the situation where I trusted a Microsoft Operating system actually touching hardware again. Keep em wrapped in a condom, is what I says...
