Sometimes its good to remember that actual space flight is hard. Too much Dr Who, Startrek, Stargate whatever and we think we can click our fingers and it'll whisk us away to some far-flung star. In reality, its a buttload of work for a huge team of people. And this photojournal here documents it. I think Vowe mentioned it first.
Just print me any one of those (especially the Mojave desert piggy back ride). I'd frame it and put it in the Oval office, to remind this new chappie just what CAN be achieved. And that nothing of value comes cheap.
And to remind them that NASA funding - even in a downturn - always gives far more payback in terms of science, technical jobs, capability - than ignorance. I think this new guy gets that.
