The Tilted Kilt

Busy Saturday. I missed the BALD - as I had some work to do, but made up for it at the Penumbra dinner. Penumbra is an organisation representing the top 20 or so business partners worldwide and has some of the best brains in the business. For some reason, my peers within Peumbra decided to vote me onto the board - despite my dress sense. Good bunch of folks, and I think this underlines their sense of humour.

One thing Penumbra has been doing is recognising folks within IBM who go that extra mile to provide good services to business partners, and this year David Stephens and Alan Lepowski were recognised. Good work fellas.

Kilts and Girls. My fellow board members, Lance Spellman (Workflow studios) and Mark Ramos (of Granite Software) both decided to surprise me by wearing kilts to the event too. This came in handy later at the Turtle party when a mob of teenage girls wanted photos with us..

3am, and the bar in the Yacht club finally closed. This morning was spent having breakfast...

Whilst my birthday was actually yesterday, the party is TONIGHT. So see you all at Jellyrolls - NOT the ESPN, as we had to change venue. Some football game of some description...
