TGIF

My current contract means I spend four hours a day on a train. Whilst that sounds awful, it does mean that I've managed to clear my backlog of promises, and have started to catch up on real life again. Backlog ?

Well there were five separate 1.5 hour presentations for The View, for their Developer conference in Vegas and Vienna, a presentation (Development for Administrators) for AdminCamp2006 in Germany next week, and some revision on TheWorstPractices, due to be presented at both AdminCamp, and at the Scottish Notes User Group on September 7th in Edinburgh.

Phew. On top of that, our product - FirM - has had a very successful quarter, with the highest ever amount of downloads, web-ex demos, and customer sales (by value). Development on that is also moving ahead, with a web-service enabled AD effector on the cards.

And still - on top of that - time for some social life, with a nice couple of pints with Rob and Colin yesterday in deepest Weegiedom, and helping some poor lost finnish tourists with their directions. Okay, it does help that one of them was about 20, stunning and blonde...

All of this has severely impacted my on-line persona. Perhaps next week, normal service will be resumed...
