The Buzzard has landed...

Friday night at the Boardwalk, in the microbrewery with Paul Mooney, Kitty & Warren. Dec and Terri joined us later for a few drinks. Another conference - a Citrix one I think, had started to congregate in the bars around Disney. We envied their fresh-faced enthusiasm - I guess we all looked like that last week..

Saturday, Paul and I hit MGM before getting to our plane - I dont think Paul had much energy in him by this point, and I suspect he was just looking forward to a long long sleep on the plane. Security at Mickey Mouse International (mental picture of the radar dome on the air traffic control tower with two HUGE mouse ears spinning around) has improved - there's 20+ lanes now and it only took 10 or so minutes for the pointless "shoes and laptop" check. A few beers, and we headed our separate ways home..

I watched my iPod video - the tail end of "Narnia" and then the Brothers Grimm. Started watching Withnail and I before the battery died. Lovely bit of kit. The flight was quite bumpy - lots of pale faces and shaky voices. I had fun. Well, till I hit Gatwick airport, and had to exit Airside, and try and check in again - no "transfers" for me. Made the plane by the skin of my teeth.

My darling daughter loves her new yellow "Lotus" boxing gloves, and Coatsie's goodie-parcel is being dispatched tomorrow. Caught up on mail, the RSS feed slave driver, and the web site updating. Finally uploading my pictures to Flickr too. Well, aside from the infamous "G-string" one that is. A deal is a deal.

No rest for the wicked though - I'll be on the "dambusters" flight from Dundee to London City first thing tomorrow. So much for taking it easy...

Oh - my presentation and database for the Object Orientated Lotusscript presentation is now up on the hadsl website...
