Spooks - well sort of...

In the UK, there's a series called Spooks, all about some form of MI5 (Internal to the UK style responsibilties) style operatives. All very TV. And today, I heard on the radio that MI6 (external UK responsibilities) were launching their web site. Of course, they didnt mention WHERE it was... So after a wee bit of hunting, I found it here.

This quote:
Although the SIS archive remains closed, a great deal has been written about the Service. Much of it is inaccurate or misleading.
from the History page (or Page5 as they've called it) tickled by funnybone. I'd love to be able to put that on a consultancy report...

They seem to have some corporate image confusion. Clearly the gazillions spent by our government on presentation over content hasnt penetrated them yet (thank god). As the starting page is "Page 49", and they seem confused over whether they're called MI6 (URL, navigator, and bottom right link) or SIS (Everywhere else).

It glads my shrivelled heart to see a wonderous corporate website paid for by billions of (my!) taxpayers money, and they get stuff like this wrong... Mind you - perhaps I shouldnt have said that....

Hey - who are you ?

Ouch! Dont do tha.........
