Another day in Edinburgh, enjoying the last couple of shows.

Attended a fairly disappointing "confessions of a Psychic" show. Bought a drawing board for the sprog. Amazing - studying graphical design at School - and has to get her own drawing board. I mean - lugging an A3 drawing board around in her schoolbag ? What next ? A vaulting horse ?

Oh - and the funniest/most painful thing to watch - Captain Frodo, the contortionist. (Actually watched him perform in the middle of the Royal Mile) He pulled himself through a 12-inch tennis bat. And then a 10-inch tennis bat. Painful to watch. Especially as he had pierced nipples. Most ladies in the audience had to look away at that point. The high point was watching him dislocate his shoulder and escape from a straighjacket. Amazing.
